How to Tackle Low Spirits and Difficulties? -Ideas based on Christianity Teachings

in Spirituality / Religion by Andy Alagappan on 05/11/2016

There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:18 (MSG)

Yes! Here we are talking about temporariness; “Everything is temporary in this world”. From joy to sorrow, from love to hatred, from affluence to poverty everything. We often bring indulgence of Christianity teachings when dealing with any spiritual phase in our life. But do you think the call for Jesus and his teachings should be limited only till spirituality? Shouldn‘t its dimensions be extended in our daily lives, in our routine- when we conform ourselves with society‘s fickle faces?
To live life is to be related and in every relationship there are three aspects, the subject, object and their connection. If the relationship is harmonious; life is harmonious; if not, life is disharmonious. The art of wisely relating to life and heightening the spirit is being spiritual.

But our spirits are low and sometimes high, isn‘t it? What should we take as our spiritual energizer so that our content of consciousness becomes high? So that we can easily pull our strings when we feel low?
Let‘s Reflect It On The Basis Of Christianity Teachings:
• What are you allowing to stand in the way of your mission? Whatever it is, let it go. "Let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back ...." (Hebrews 12:1 LB)

• Heb 11:1 (KJV) now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
• Jesus said, "Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62 LB) Paul warned, "Deal as sparingly as possible with the things the world thrusts on you. This world as you sees it is on its way out." (1 Corinthians 7:31 MSG)

• Heb 11:1 (NEB) Faith... makes us certain of realities we do not see. Heb 11:1 (Mof) now faith means that we are confident of what we hope for convinced of what we do not see.
Always remember, difficulties are always doomed to pass away, sooner or later. When one faces difficulty, one generally forgets a very important fact that is: God has gifted man a very pristine mind- which is in itself a difficulty solving machine. The mind is greater than everything, including difficulty, however severe it may be.
So, in the gloomy situations, try to focus on your mind rather than on the difficulty. And very soon you will find that the lower spirits, difficulties, has disappeared, first psychologically and then physically.

Just keep believing what Christianity teaches you. The battle is between faith and reason on one side and emotions and imagination on the other. When you keep yourself intact from being upset, you are in better position to keep your energy safe. Keep yourself from being the victim of frustration and always stand with a spiritual frame of mind which will certainly not let you to dip your toes in shallow waters of hopelessness.
